Baytown, TX - Steve Kinser gets up to speed pretty quick at most every track the World of Outlaws visit and can adapt to just about any conditions the track may throw at him, having won at nearly every track on the circuit. One track he is especially fast at and that suits his driving style very well is the immaculate Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, where the World of Outlaws will compete on Saturday, March 13 in the Texas Shootout as part of the Texas Two-Step Weekend.

In 14 career starts at Houston Raceway Park, Kinser has finished in the Top-10 in each and every race, with 11 Top-Five performances among the tally. He has an average finish of 3.6 at the track, which easily is the best of the 18 drivers competing full-time with the World of Outlaws in 2010.

SIMI VALLEY, CA – Extreme Mufflers has announced a contingency program for competitors with the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series for 2010. Extreme will award a $100 product certificate to the drivers that win the First Heat Race of every program. To qualify for the contingency, competitors must display the Extreme Muffler decal on their car. The decals will be available at the racetrack and distributed by series officials.

For winning the First Heat Race at last weekend’s season opener at Tulare’s Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway, Clovis’ Peter Murphy will be awarded a certificate this Saturday at Hanford’s Giant Speedway.

HANFORD, CA – Round two for the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series will be held this Saturday night, March 13th, at Giant Speedway in Hanford, California. It will be the first of five events at the 3/8-mile facility, followed by June 5th, July 17th, August 21st, and the Jim Turner Memorial on September 11th. The Turner Memorial is also the finale for the Southwest Contractors 360 Clash, a four-race mini-series that has a $5,000 point fund.

Several key players in last season’s championship point chase will be looking to rebound after a tough night at the Tulare season opener. Defending Champion Justyne Hamblin of Hanford, Bakersfield’s Rusty Carlile, Clovis’ Peter Murphy, and Kerman’s Davey Pombo are among a talented roster of drivers that will be looking to visit Hanford’s victory circle.
