Menne had to get a new right front tire. and Ramaker stayed out
Lap 15 Jayme Barnes leading early on gets passed by Roger Crockett and Crockett half a straightaway ahead now having to deal with heavy lapped traffic, Lap 20? Crockett trying to lap Marvin SMith but Marvin putting up a good fight and Crockett finally gets by it helped Barnes close in a little bit but Crockett had some open ground in front of him for a few laps meanwhile in 3rd place Steve Kent closing in on Barnes
